Role Summary

Lady Luck Games is seeking an ambitious and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team in a fast-paced online gaming industry. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the B2B sector. Your focus will be on building and nurturing relationships with clients, negotiating contracts, and ensuring our products and services meet the evolving needs of the market.

Within this role, you will be both commercially and operationally organised while also developing skills to partner with clients strategically and creatively. You are organised, a strong team player and leader, and most importantly a self-starter, comfortable with managing numerous responsibilities of varied nature as well as speaking to internal and external stakeholders comfortably.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Acquisition:
    • Identify and target potential clients in the online gaming industry,
    • Develop and execute tailored strategies to acquire new business opportunities and expand market reach.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients to maximize client satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring regular communication and follow-ups.
  • Market Research and Strategy:
    • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to align business development strategies with market demands.
  • Proposal Development:
    • Create compelling proposals, presentations, and pitch materials tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
    • Negotiate and close contracts to achieve revenue targets.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
    • Work closely with product, marketing, and the creative team to align client requirements with company offerings.
    • Provide feedback on client needs and market trends to influence product development and strategy.
  • Revenue Growth and KPIs:
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs related to new client acquisition, revenue generation, and partnership expansions.
    • Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role, preferably within the B2B online gaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of the online gaming ecosystem, including platforms, operators, and key market trends.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Pro-active can-do attitude. Motivated, resilient, able to work at pace to respond to the constantly evolving requirements of projects and the tenacity to respond to unexpected challenges, calm under pressure and promotes positivity.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research and interpret data effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales tracking software.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Experience with online gaming products such as casino, sportsbook, or live gaming solutions.
  • A strong network within the iGaming sector.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in key markets.
