Responsibilities
As a member of the leadership team, this role works with the leadership team and other head of departments to set the company’s vision, roadmap, and growth plans:
- Be accountable for monitoring overall P&L and shared KPIs.
- Lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and talent development.
- Provide the CEO and executives with meaningful insights and advice to assist decision making, enabling the achievement of key strategic objectives.
- Leads the development of strategy roadmap, growth ambitions, acquisition and business/commercial integration projects of the company
- Accountable for all financial planning and reporting cycles across the year
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual comparisons of actual results to budget and forecasts on the agreed timetable.
- Prepares monthly cash flow statements and ensure proper cash management.
- Oversee the implementation and management and operations of accounting teams across the region.
- Supports Upgrade systems, procedures, governance & controls.
- Ensures Finance and Accounting compliance with regulatory bodies in all corresponding and governing jurisdictions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- CPA, CFA, or other relevant financial certifications are preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior financial management roles, including experience as a CFO or equivalent.
- Proven people leader with a track record of achievement
- Experience leading a finance function within a diverse team
- Experience in leading change projects and business transformation.
- Proven communication, commercial acumen, and strategic thinking.
- Strategic planning and modelling capability and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
